  1. Thank you for sharing this psd.
I hope you will do more Covers with the 5.5×8 size, because I need them and this is the only one on your site. 😉

  2. Thank you for your generous sharing!

I have a question though: my book design is supposed to be 148mm * 210mm. How can I easily use your 5.5 * 8 inch book cover to fit my book?

    Thanks..!

  3. Thank you so much for making these mockups available. I’m a perfectionist, so I significantly tweaked mine, but I had to start somewhere. The result will be at http://www.cerellwood.com/go/fairytale/. Since my fairy tale is quite short, I didn’t want to mislead people, so I cut away most of the pages on the side. Then the shadow didn’t look right, so I made my own by skewing a copy of the cover and pasting a gradient, then blurring the lines with the blur tool and the eraser. I am happy with the result!

Btw, I did the tweaking in Affinity Photo. Photoshop stopped being affordable long ago, so I bought Affinity and it feels like it can do everything PS could! No compatibility issues with your file.

  4. Thanks you so so much for providing these mockups for free! I’m starting a side project where I design alternate covers of every book I read in 2018. This saved me a lot of time building the mockups myself. Much appreciated!

  5. Thank you so much!
    Great job!
I made a mock-up for my sister’s new book—how does she tag you on Instagram?
I’ve pitched using it for a creativepro post for my digital art studio column after the first of the year. Get in touch!
